If you are using the GMAT code, please use “D3Z-SQ-80,” while for GRE, use “ETS 4748.” Candidates are required to send their scores directly to IIMK, and official score reports from Pearson/GMAC (for GMAT) or ETS (for GRE) will be used for verification.

All candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria mentioned above are eligible to register for the IIMK PGP-BL program. The admission process is conducted in multiple mutually independent phases. It is important to complete the registration process (Stage 1) before the due date to be considered for each phase.

IIMK 3-stage ADMISSION PROCESS

The IIM Kozhikode PGP-BL admission process consists of three distinct stages: Registration and Eligibility Confirmation (Stage 1), Submission of Additional Personal Statement (Stage 2), and shortlisting for Personal Interaction (PI) (Stage 3).

Stage 1: Registration and Eligibility Confirmation

All candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria mentioned earlier are eligible to register for the IIM Kozhikode PGP-BL program. This is the first stage of the admission process. It is essential to complete the registration process before the specified due date to be considered for subsequent stages.

The application fees for the Executive MBA from IIM Kozhikode is INR 3000.

Please note that Stage 1 is a pre-interaction stage and does not indicate a call for Personal Interaction at this point.

Stage 2: Submitting Additional Personal Statement

Once candidates have successfully completed the registration process in Stage 1, they proceed to Stage 2. This stage applies to all eligible candidates.

As part of the assessment process, candidates are required to submit an additional personal statement, which consists of two components:

Statement of Goals: The candidate is expected to share their long-term and short-term career aspirations. This helps the institute understand the candidate’s objectives, initiate meaningful conversations, and contribute to designing a customised learning experience.

Alternative Resume Essay: The alternative resume essay provides candidates with an opportunity to showcase the “rest of their story” beyond what is captured in their formal CV. It allows them to present themselves as well-rounded individuals, highlighting aspects that may not be immediately evident in their application.

The number of candidates shortlisted for the Personal Interaction stage will be determined at the discretion of IIMK, based on the evaluation of the submitted personal statements.

Stage 3: Shortlist for Personal Interaction (PI)

In Stage 3, the shortlisted candidates from Stage 2 will be invited to participate in a Personal Interaction (PI) session. During the PI, a panel will evaluate each candidate based on various criteria, including:

– Quality and nature of work experience

– Diversity in background and perspectives

– Leadership qualities

– Social sensitivity

– Multi-dimensionality

– Strong oral and written communication skills

– Critical thinking abilities

The final selection of candidates for the PGP-BL program will be based on a comprehensive assessment of their overall performance throughout the admission process.
