ISB Application Accelerator Program FAQs
Q1. How is this different from your 1:1 consulting plan?
The 1:1 plan is designed for applicants who want dedicated mentors, unlimited reviews, and support across the full admissions cycle, including all rounds, interviews, and ongoing WhatsApp access. The Application Accelerator is a focused, time-bound program for applicants who are self-driven, want a strong community, and need structured frameworks and expert feedback at key moments. You still get direct access to Manan, but in a cohort format and then for 2 reviews, rather than on demand.
Q2. Who is this program best suited for?
Applicants who are motivated and reasonably clear on their career direction, but need a structured process, honest feedback, and expert guidance to pull their story together. If you've been putting off starting because you don't know how, this program gives you that system.
Q3. Will I get personal feedback on my application?
Yes. The program includes 2 application reviews and a dedicated 60-minute 1:1 session with Manan Puri in Week 4 and Week 5, where your full application is reviewed and you receive personalised, detailed feedback.
Q4. How much time do I need to commit each week?
Expect 4–6 hours per week, roughly 90–120 minutes for live sessions and 3–4 hours of independent work on your stories, drafts, and essays. The more you put in during the early weeks, the more you get out of the Week 4 review.
Q5. What if I miss a live session?
Session recordings will be shared for 5 weeks so you can catch up. However, we strongly recommend attending live, especially the alumni panels and strategy sessions, since a lot of the value comes from the interaction and Q&A.
Q6. Do I need to have my GMAT/GRE score ready before joining?
No. This program focuses entirely on the application, your story, essays, resume, and goals. Your test score is a separate input, and you can be working on it in parallel.
Q7. What is the refund policy?
Given the cohort-based nature of the program and limited seats, we recommend reaching out before enrolling if you have any concerns. No refunds or deferrals once the program starts.
Q8. How many people are in each cohort?
Cohort sizes are kept intentionally small to ensure the quality of interaction and feedback. The idea is to keep each cohort below 15 participants.
Q9. I'm not sure if my profile is strong enough for ISB. Should I still join?
Yes, you can get a profile evaluation chat before signing up. In fact, this is one of the best reasons to join. Week 1 is specifically designed to give you an honest reality check on your profile, identify gaps, and figure out how to position your story compellingly. You'll leave with clarity, not just hope.
