PGDM(BM) – 2 Years

XLRI offers a two-year full time programme on Business Management, on the completion which, candidates are conferred with Postgraduate diploma in Business Management (PGDBM). This programme is extremely prestigious and is rated as one of the finest of its kind in the country. The alumni of this programme currently occupy very significant positions in various industries, both in India and abroad.

The curriculum lays the foundation for a conceptual and analytical understanding of Indian and international business. XLRI’s BM programme is designed to closely integrate current management theory and practice. PGDM(BM) – 3 Years

XLRI offers a three-year AICTE-approved Evening Post-graduate Diploma Program as a Weekend program from 2017 onwards. The Three-year AICTE approved Weekend Post-graduate Diploma program is uniquely designed and structured to enable working executives and business owners to develop the requisite managerial and business skills and competence for a managerial/ownership role. The program comprises 900 hours of coursework interaction that is spread over three years to accommodate the time constraints of working executives and business owners.

PGDM(GM) – 18 Months

XLRI offers an eighteen-month full-time residential management program PGDM (GM), previously known as GMP. Incoming students having a minimum of five years of experience in varied fields are crystallized into modern corporate warriors imbibed with a human touch. Let us dive into the 1-year PGDM offered by XLRI – 

The primary objective of the General PGDM (GM) Programme is to enhance the capabilities and expertise of active managers. By acquainting them with contemporary management trends, tools, and methodologies, the program not only equips participants with additional skill sets but also encourages them to contemplate their past organizational experiences. While the curriculum includes traditional disciplines such as Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Marketing, Production Management, and Strategic Management, the program places a pivotal emphasis on readying present-day managers for leadership positions. This AICTE-approved, 18-month, full-time course also encompasses a 6-month hands-on training in a specialized functional domain.

XLRI 2024 MBA Eligibility

  • By March 31, 2024, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with at least five years of full-time work experience after completion of graduation
  • The ExPGDM Program accepts XAT 2023, GMAT, and GRE scores of December 1, 2018, through December 31, 2023, from applicants.
  • Candidates must be at least 25 years old as of March 31 of the year the PGDM (GM) program begins.

XLRI Fees – PGDM(GM) 2024

If you’re considering the Executive PGDM program at XLRI, it’s essential to understand the financial aspects. Here’s a breakdown of the fees and related information:

Program Fee: The Executive PGDM program fee for the 2020-21 batch is INR 28,00,000 (Twenty-Eight Lacs). Additional Costs: Some costs are separate from the program fee. Students are required to pay caution money: INR 35,000 for single accommodation and INR 70,000 for MSH. This deposit is refundable within three months after program completion, adjusting for any outstanding utility or service charges.

Scholarship Options: XLRI offers scholarship opportunities for Executive PGDM students. Five Interest Waiver Scholarships are available based on merit. These scholarships work as an interest waiver on the bank loan taken by students for the program fee, with a maximum amount of up to 3 Lakhs.
