ISB PGP Admissions 2026–2027: A Comprehensive Guide to Deadlines, Eligibility, and Application Process

ISB has announced the deadlines for ISB admissions into the flagship PGP for the class of 2028, i.e. for the application season 2026-2027.
Application Deadlines for the 2026–2027 Intake
ISB accepts applications across three rounds. Applicants can choose the round that best aligns with their preparation and readiness.

Note: Applications submitted after a round deadline automatically roll into the next round. No applications will be accepted after January 17, 2027.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the ISB PGP 2026–2027 intake, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 24 months of full-time post-qualification work experience by March 31, 2027.
- Standardized Test Scores: A valid GMAT or GRE score. Note: ISB no longer accepts online GMAT or GRE test scores.
ISB PGP Application Components
A complete application to ISB’s PGP includes:
- Academic Transcripts: Details of undergraduate and any postgraduate education.
- GMAT/GRE Score: Valid test scores as per ISB’s requirements. Note that there is no cut off GMAT / GRE score. However, based on past record, applicants with a range of GMAT scores between 605 and 785 have been selected with a median score around 655-675. Similarly, applicants with a range of 300 to 336 have been accepted previously with a median score of around 325-327. Note that these scores are indicative based on our experience of working with candidates and ISB’s score expectations / requirements may change in future.
- Essays: Typically, two essays that provide insights into the applicant’s personal and professional journey. There is a third essay which is “optional” but we strongly recommend that you attempt it. Reapplicants are required to write a “reapplicant essay” focusing on improvement of their profile since their last application.
- Recommendation / Evaluation: One professional recommendation / evaluation, preferably from a current or past supervisor / senior leader.
- Application Fee: As specified on ISB’s official website.
The Interview Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the ISB PGP interviews, which are a crucial component of the selection process. Interviews are conducted either in person at ISB campuses, at select locations in select cities or virtually. Candidates are usually informed about their interview status 3–7 days before the scheduled date.

Admission Decisions
As mentioned in the table above, final admission decisions are expected to be communicated as per the following schedule:
- Round 1: End of November 2026 – Early December 2026
- Round 2: End of February 2027
- Round 3: Mid-March 2027
Accepted candidates are expected to confirm their acceptance and pay the admission fee within the stipulated time frame mentioned in the offer letter.
Program Commencement
The PGP for the 2026–2027 academic year is tentatively scheduled to commence in April 2027. Specific dates and onboarding details will be provided in the admission offer letter.
